DOCUMENTATION FOR DA (COUNCIL SUBMISSIONS)
Completion of Complying Development Applications to meet NSW SEPP 2008 Complying Development controls. Meeting all necessary requirements for a Construction Certificate.
Completion of all required documentation for DAs or in contact with a number of consultants where other reports are required. Experience with Sutherland Shire Council, Wollongong City Council, Kiama Municipal Council, Shoalhaven City Council and Woolahra Municipal Council. Working through all the necessary requirements to get your plans submitted and work with council to get your project over the line.
DOCUMENTATION FOR CC & DETAILED CONSTRUCTION
Experienced in collating & organising all the information required for a Construction Certificates, be it from a Private Certifier or for Council. Southworth Architects will get the Certificate for you to give to your builder. Requires: Builder's Home Compensation Fund or your Home Builder Permit no.
PROJECT PROCUREMENT TO COMPLETION
I also recommend to clients that it is helpful to have an architect be the middle man between the builder and themselves. Building can become very stressful, and when it comes to money and decisions it is worthwhile having an advocate, who understands the issues that may arise. And guide you through the process to get the best outcome for you.

Southworth Architects are experienced in managing the demands of design, complex fire standards & requirements in the Australian bush. Be weary of buying a site in a Bushfire prone land, getting a Bal Certificate is highly recommend before going through with a sale. I can connect you with trustworthy Bushfire Assessment Consultants. Bal levels are constantly getting more conservative and making it more expensive to build.
