New detached home office

Brief: This project was for myself, a studio to work from, to be separate from my home, using the existing space of the existing outdoor deck at the front of my home. To be big enough for a desk with a place to meet with clients, to have a nice outlook into my front garden and to have compact kitchenette with sink & hidden storage for a large printer.

Site constraints: bushfire prone land with a Bal rating of Bal 29 & also is in Flood prone land at the very front of the site.

Before the Studio was built, there was an existing deck area at the front of the house that wasn't being used. The brick walls were kept, the deck was replaced with a new concrete slab for the floor of the studio.
